ELGIN PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL

Support Elgin's second annual Pride Parade and Festival, June 1, 2024! Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, family-friendly environment accessible to all who would like to attend, in downtown Elgin.
More than 4,000 community members attended this fun, family-friendly LGBTQIA+ celebration in 2023, and interest remains high in 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to put your business or organization in front of thousands of potential customers and support a positive, beneficial event for the whole community. We strive to make our events family-friendly experiences that are physically and financially accessible to all who would like to attend. We are a 501(c)(3), so eligible donations are tax deductible.

Your donations make all of this possible. We strive to demonstrate our support to the LGBTQIA+ community of Elgin and the surrounding areas, and unify our community. Your contribution to this amazing cause is greatly appreciated. Every donation goes toward benefiting the 2024 ELGbtq+ Pride-related events, and your support encourages the patronship of Elgin’s businesses throughout the weekend. Together, let's spread the word about how amazing and welcoming Elgin is!

In the unlikely case that our event is cancelled due to inclement weather, no refunds will be given.
All payments/reservations will be honored for a future reschedule date.

VENDORS
We are accepting vendor applications for the festival marketplace!
Vendor fee: $100
Please apply using the form below.

Vendors must provide their own 10' x 10' pop tent, a table, and any supplies needed. Vendor spaces are 10' x 10', and you may bring as much as you can fit in that area. Food trucks are allowed a parking space.

We will not have electricity available. No booth or tent will be allowed to be spiked into the grass, per the City of Elgin.
FOOD VENDORS
We are accepting applications for food trucks and other food vendors!
Vendor fee: $100 Permit fee: $140

All vendors must supply their own tents/tables or other necessary supplies. Vendor spaces are 10' x 10', not including food trucks, which will have parking space. Food truck parking spaces are limited, so please sign up ASAP to claim a space.

The City of Elgin Health Department has final discretion over food vendors. ALL food vendors must have a temporary food service permit from the city OR a mobile/seasonal food license from the Kane County Health Department on file at least 2 weeks before the event.

If you require power, you must bring your own power source, as our available power is limited.
We will not permit the sale of any liquor or alcoholic beverages. Pre-packaged food that is closed and sealed is considered a merchandise vendor. Please contact Brad Bohner at Bohner_B@cityofelgin.org if you have questions about permitting or health department approval.
PARADE GROUPS
We welcome parade groups of all types!
For-Profit Entity: $75 Non-Profit Entity: $30

Walking groups, floats, vehicles, marching bands - all are welcome. Groups are also welcome to distribute promotional materials and prizes, but we do ask that you not throw them or create an excessive amount of trash (confetti, etc). Parade groups may register by clicking here.
